These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Undercover Shhh mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. About the App
Undercover Shhh is a party-style guessing and social game intended for entertainment purposes only. It is designed to be played locally with friends, family, or groups and does not require an online account.
2. Eligibility
By using the App, you confirm that you are legally permitted to use it under the laws of your country of residence. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful and appropriate purposes. You must not:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Use the App to harass, bully, or otherwise harm other players or any third party
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the App's code or security features
- Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation, or interfere with others' enjoyment of the App
4. In-App Content and Behaviour
The App may include categories, prompts, or game scenarios that are humorous, playful, or themed around social situations. While we aim to keep content suitable for a general audience, we are not responsible for how players choose to interpret or use the prompts in real life.
You are responsible for ensuring that the way you and others use the App during gameplay is respectful, safe, and appropriate for everyone involved.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including but not limited to game mechanics, designs, graphics, text, and branding) are owned by the developer of Undercover Shhh or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or included content, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
6. Purchases and In-App Subscriptions
If the App offers in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions (such as unlocking additional content or features), those purchases will be processed through the platform provider (for example, Apple's App Store).
6.1 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Undercover Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that provides access to all party packs and secret game modes.
Subscription Details:
- Title: Undercover Premium
- Description: Unlock all party packs and secret modes
- Length of subscription: One week (renewable weekly)
- Price: Displayed in the App Store before purchase (varies by currency and region)
- Free Trial: A free trial period is offered before your subscription begins. The duration of the free trial will be displayed at the time of purchase.
- Billing: After the free trial period ends (if applicable), your subscription will automatically renew weekly unless you cancel it
Free Trial:
If you choose to use the free trial offer, you will have access to Undercover Premium features at no charge for the trial period. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the weekly subscription price unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Automatic Renewal:
By purchasing an Undercover Premium subscription (or accepting the free trial), you authorize automatic renewal and recurring weekly charges to your chosen payment method at the end of each subscription period. You will be charged the price shown at the time of purchase.
Cancellation:
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, access your device's app store settings:
- On Apple devices: Open Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Undercover Shhh > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription
Cancellation must be completed before your weekly renewal date to avoid being charged for the next week. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods or unused portions of your subscription.
Refunds:
Refund requests must be made through your app store's customer service (for example, Apple's App Store). We have no control over refund decisions, which are governed entirely by the App Store's policies. Refunds are at the sole discretion of the App Store provider.
6.2 General Payment Terms
All payment terms, refunds, and billing issues related to purchases are governed by the App Store's own terms and policies, in addition to these Terms. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the price displayed at the time of purchase.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the App, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall be limited to the amount you have paid (if any) to use the App in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Undercover Shhh from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use or misuse of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
10. Changes to the App and These Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do so, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or used the App in a harmful or unlawful way.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the App are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
